Hope you are all well and surviving this credit crunch leading up to the festive season! Can you believe Christmas is nearly here already! Where has the year gone hey.

Every year I make a pact with myself to start shopping earlier. I think, 'I will try to do it during the year so it's not all a mad panic at the end', and I actually stuck to it this time! Well, almost. I did my very first piece of Christmas shopping today, yay, so proud of me! This time I have a whole three weeks on last year's attempts! Even with lots of trips to America I find reasons why I should be shopping for presents for little old me instead of for Crimbo, which is a bit naughty but hey there would be no fun in my job if I couldn't make the most of my trips. (And being female, it would be simply rude to deny myself access to such good shoe shopping opportunities! Did I mention I am spending Christmas in Orlando? Lucky me.) 

All I can say is be thankful for Internet shopping, as that will be my way of getting through the rest of the pressie purchases. Its so much easier to shop with no late night shopping, walking all round the malls, fighting your way through the crowds that walk towards you, queues in shops that go by the mile and ultimately, those never ending queues for the carparks. All you do is find what you want, pay for it (that's the hard part) and wait for it to arrive. Oh and everything is usually much cheaper online too. Bliss. I am a big fan……Now if only I could win the lottery to pay for it all! Hehe.

The moral of this story is…plan ahead, or buy abroad. Or it could be, shop online instead of fighting the panic-buying shoppers on the streets. Or how about win the lottery and just get someone else to do it all for you! I like that one the most, but you choose your favourite option and try it out next year if you havent done it this time round. Happy Crimbo shopping my readers!

P.S Does anyone else have a rotten stinking cold right now? I'm sure it sets in at the same time each year just to symbolise and remind me it is now winter and time to start digging out those old warm winter clothes that I can't wait to see the back of as soon as the sun resurfaces at some point in the new year! Got to admit though, it is nice to be all cosied up in the full on attire that is hats, scarves, gloves, with hot chocolate and log fires etc. So festive!
